FYI
In Houston every square mile has 10 - 20 lightning strikes per year. No particular area in Houston has more over an extended period.
Texas averages 4 deaths by lightning a year - Houston less than 1.

I think what he meant by you are 84% more likely to be struck if you are male is rally: you are 84% more likely to be struck if you are a golfer. It seems like that's always where these things happen!
