Ellery insisted on making a cake for Poppy so we went to the store and picked out exactly what she was envisioning. Of course, there were no Star Wars decorations at the grocery store so we settled for sprinkles and candles.Speaking of cakes, did you know that Betty Crocker makes a gluten free cake mix? This will come in handy for Price's upcoming birthday. I will just have to use a vegan butter stick and make my own frosting. Sounds yummy, right?

That is so cute! Ellery will like Walker's new shoes he picked out for school - clone trooper shoes that light up blue. He is over the moon excited to wear them and takes extra steps to see them light up (I was so sad that he is to the age where I can no longer go pick out the cute Lacoste tennis shoes for him)! I'm not sure how he knows what a clone trooper is bc he hasn't seen the movie yet - maybe Ellery filled him in on the story!
