Princess breakfast
I think I have two more Disney posts, and I will be done! One morning we had reservations at Ariel's Grotto for a breakfast with the princesses. It was so much fun and quite the ordeal. Each princess was announced, her theme song came on, and then she proceeded to every table to talk with the guests. They were all so sweet and really took their time with Ellery, letting her ask questions and posing for pictures.

Her favorite princess Aurora. One of Ellery's questions to Aurora was, "How do you get the sweaters on the owls?!"

Snow White

Cinderella. Ellery was a little distracted because they were announcing another princess entering the room. Ellery also told Cinderella that she is not her favorite princess.

Oh, and I have to mention that Lulu got teary-eyed when they began announcing the princesses and queuing the music! The magic of Disney!

Love this face
Thank you Lord for using this time in our lives to teach Ellery so many new things. Patience, understanding, love for other kids who look and act different than the kids at school, and faith in believing Him for miracles!
Thank you Lord for so wonderfully making our first-born. Full of life, full of love, full of questions and curiosity, and yes, with plenty of drama and bossy-ness too.

First trip to Disney
Price loved Disneyland. He is a wonderful traveler and just a really happy and pleasant little guy! He spent most of the day in a stroller and didn't seem to mind. He loves to people watch and Disney is the perfect place to do that. He rode several rides with us, enjoyed clapping to the music of the parade, and took some good cat naps!

Not so sure about Handy Manny
Price learned to drink from a cup while we were at Disney as evidenced by this picture - his shirt is soaking wet! The fine motor skills are difficult but I am so proud of him for working so hard!
He also must have picked up some new sounds at Disney. His speech therapist was impressed that he is saying more "ma's" and "na's" and doing more mimicking. Go Pricey! Maybe we need to just live at Disneyland?

Bibbidi Bobbidi
On our first full day at Disney, Ellery had an appointment with her fairy-godmother-in-training. We arrived at the Bibbidi Bobbidi boutique which is right by the Disney castle, and she was immediately greeted as princess Ellery. Her fairy godmother took her around the room to look at all the dress possibilities, and Ellery soon decided on Belle. Her favorite princess is Aurora, or Sleeping Beauty, but since we have that dress at home (as well as several others) she thought Belle would be the smartest choice.
Her fairy godmother said she was going to get the animals working on Ellery's Belle dress like they do for all of the famous princesses. Elle is brought back to a dressing room where after repeating the words, "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo", her dress and accessories are revealed behind the curtain. Cute.
And the princess transformation begins.

Ellery was given a choice of 3 different hairstyles. She went for the classic princess bun!

Pink nails and pink and purple makeup are a must.
